Sonoff S26R2ZB: 3 different plug standards

ITEAD is launching one product after another these days. Today we see the Sonoff S26R2ZB appearing on the scene. Many people have asked for a Zigbee version of the Sonoff S26. Those people will be happy to see the the Sonoff S26R2ZB is released today. There are versions with UK plugs, EU F (general style) and EU E (French style).

The Sonoff S26R2ZB will require a Zigbee bridge to operate. This can either be a Sonoff Zigbee bridge which operates at the eWeLink ecosystem as wel an Amazon Echo 4th gen, as well as a Philips Hue bridge and several other Zigbee bridges.

Compared to the Sonoff S26 the featureset of the Sonoff S26R2ZB will probably a bit more limited due the fact the Zigbee protocol doesn’t have standardization of a few features the WiFi version Sonoff S26 has. However, you can still expect things like switching on/off, schedule, timer, scenes and sharing to work.
