[UPDATE] ITEAD releases Sonoff MS01 soil moisture sensor and is seeking for 5 testers

On July 18th ITEAD announced the Sonoff MS01 soil moisture sensor will be released soon. Today ITEAD wrote it will be released on July 23rd and that they are also recruiting for 5 testers. Those 5 testers need to share their test results and how the MS01 helped them in maintaining the garden and/or potted plants.

What is the Sonoff MS01 soil moisture sensor?

The Sonoff MS01 is a sensor to keep track of the moisture level in the soil. It is waterproof and thus it is save to leave in the moisture. The MS01 is being connected to the sensor port of a TH10 or TH16.

How can I test the Sonoff MS01?

ITEAD posted a message on their Facebook page where they are seeking for 5 testers. If you apply at their form at https://bit.ly/3zka2RM to become a tester and are chosen as one of those 5 testers you will receive:

  • Sonoff MS01 soil moisture sensor
  • 5 meters of extension cable
  • Sonoff TH10 temperature and humidity monitoring switch

Winners will be chosen at July 26th and packages for the winners will be shipped before July 30th.

Sonoff MS01

The Sonoff MS01 is a soil moisture sensor. It enables you to keep track of the moisture in your soil outside or at potted plants. It also enables you to automate tasks (e.g. watering) based on the moisture value measured.

  • Turn a device on or off based on temperature and/or humidity in the auto mode.
