Why eWeLink started with paid subscription plans?
Starting from June 30th, 2020 eWeLink won’t support IFTTT for free anymore since IFTTT increased their prices to their customers. Most customers of IFTTT (eWeLink is one of their customers) which delivers smart home services to people decided to stop supporting IFTTT at all but eWeLink decided to start with subscription plans in which IFTTT support is included. Later on more features will be added to the subscription plans. Currently only the “Advanced” subscription plan is available.
