LAN mode not working as it pretent it should be

24 votes (77.4%), priority index: 4.25

This is the most obvious one to become a winner on the lists of bugs to be fixed urgently. After every eWeLink app release it turns out that devices can’t be operated on a local LAN. With the name “LAN mode” people expect to be able to operate their devices locally without an active internet connection. Especially for people with unreliable internet connections this is a very important feature.

It turned out in the 4.x.x series eWeLink intended to have the LAN fmode feature as supporting way to connect with devices to operate them but not as a complete replacement of the way in which devices get operated. In eWeLink 4.6.0 eWeLink intended to improve the LAN mode feature to make a completely local operation of devices possible but again it failed. eWeLInk 4.7.0 didn’t contain any LAN mode improvement at all.

We hope eWeLink now starts to realize how important a good working LAN mode is to a lot of people and eventually needs to come up with a correctly working LAN mode in a way people expects a feature with such a name should work.

Not being able to set brightness of a light in a scene

22 votes (71.0%), priority index: 3.23

This bug has been added to the survey mainly based on the experience of the survey creator, Joennuh, but it turns out he is not the only one who experiences this issue.

Not having a clear indication of which RF device fires an alarm

21 votes (67.7%), priority index: 4.00

Did someone open the door? Or did someone open a window? Or did someone walk in front of the PIR sensor at the backyard? Or did someone press a button on a RF remote?

It would be great to all RF hub owners to be able to distinguish which alarm triggered the notification.

Unable to reorder devices in lower part of the reorder screen

21 votes (67.7%), priority index: 3.62

This is an issue which already existed since the very beginning of the eWeLink 4.x.x series. The creator of the survey, Joennuh, was also one of the very first beta testers of version 4.0.0. Back then he didn’t experience this issue because he didn’t had that much devices. Back then people with quite a few devices did experience this issue. An now, as the device lists grows, Joennuh also started to experience the issue. The grey seperator box to indicate the spot where you can lift your finger to place the item does not correspond with the real spot where your finger is. Also the item to move flips back to a previous position. This mainly happens at the lower part of the reorder screen.

Zigbee devices loosing their names all the time

17 votes (54.8%), priority index: 3.94

Another issue reported quite frequently on all social media since Zigbee devices for eWeLink came to the market: the app looses the names of the Zigbee devices connected to the Sonoff Zigbee hub very often. So far no serious answer by eWeLink and/or Sonoff yet on this subject that frustrates many users.

Unable to choose a date at the scheduler

17 votes (54.8%), priority index: 3.65

Another feature that got lost with the release of the eWeLink 4.x.x series: the ability to choose a date at the scheduler. This should not be to hard to get back in the app.
