My device appears offline sometimes or always. How can I get to show up as online?
You can have a look at the
Help & feedback option on the

In addition to this: When you set new DNS-servers in your router settings and life outside China I would recommend to try the Google DNS servers:
220.127.116.11. Or any other DNS servers that are better then the ones of your Internet Service Provider ofcourse.
