Pairing the eWeLink thermostat (KKMOON HC-T010-EWF and simular ones)

The manual of the eWeLink thermostat (like the KKMOON HC-T010-EWF and simular ones) describes that the thermostat just goes in pairing mode directly after powering the device. In reality this turns out not to be the case. eWeLink Telegram group member MarcVH contacted the seller of his eWeLink thermostat. The seller provided the correct pairing instructions to MarcVH. MarcVH provided us 2 recordings of both pairing modes so that we can share the complete procedures with you, the whole eWeLink community.
Quick Pairing mode
- Press the touch screen power button to place the device in standby mode.
- Press and hold the arrow down button.
- Hold the arrow down buttonuntil the screen starts to blink.
- The device is now ready for Quick Pairing.
Compatible Pairing mode
- Press the touch screen power button to place the device in standby mode.
- Press and hold the arrow down button.
- Hold the arrow down buttonuntil the screen starts to blink.
- Press and hold the arrow down button again.
- Hold the arrow down button until the screen starts to blink slowly.
- The device is now ready for Compatible Pairing.
